  • Additional Notices:
  1. Please inform us your height/weight upon registration for necessary bike arrangements. Name and phone number for one’s emergency contact purposes are also required.
  2. Tour participants:
    • Over 11 years old or height 145cm and above is suggested. And please summit Parental Agreement Form if you are under age 18. (Legal representative is required to accompany the participant under age 15 during the tour)
    • Agreement are required for participants over 70 years old.(Accompany is required)
    • For e-bike tours, participants must be at least 14 years old and have a height of 155 cm or above.
    • For electric mountain bike tours, participants must be at least 14 years old and have a height of 160 cm or above.
    • For special itineraries such as parent-child tours and summer camps, the age requirements will be based on the announcements on the official website.
  3. Schedules and meals are subject to change to meet the needs of participants and weather condition.
  4. Accommodations and cycling routes are subject to change. Please refer to notices published on Giant Adventure official website. In the case of accommodations change, changes will only be made to hotels of the same level.
  5. Giant remains the explanation right of the tour and right for itinerary change if the weather or similar situation doesn’t allow certain schedule. Refund will NOT be given for participant who leaves or terminates the tour on his/her own.
  6. Cycling tour requires certain personal fitness; please take your own fitness level into consideration. People who have chronic or acute diseases are not suggested to participate. (such as cardiovascular disease)
  7. If the insurance coverage isn’t enough, participants are welcome to purchase additional insurance coverage to meet your need. Travel liability insurance coverage is only limited to accidents.  The insurance coverage does not include any accident occurring due to a participant’s health conditions.  If you think the coverage is insufficient, please obtain additional insurance, such as travel safety insurance, overseas emergency disease and health insurance, etc.
  8. Travelers have the obligation of disclosing their health conditions and providing with the medical certificate upon the request of the travel agent.  As you need to have sufficient physical energy to complete the activity, we suggest that you should adjust fitness by starting training yourself 2 weeks prior to the activity.
  9. Health Conditions Survey (Please disclose based on your health conditions.)
 For the safety of your travel and the interests of all tour members, if you are pregnant or suffer, or have suffered, from any severe diseases, including but not limited to cardiovascular disease, brain diseases, cancers, musculoskeletal system and connective tissue diseases, respiratory diseases, chronic diseases, infectious diseases, alcohol or drug addiction and physical disability, please disclose faithfully before registering for a tour.  If you suffered from any of the aforementioned diseases before and have been cured, you are still required to disclose faithfully.  Please consider your health conditions before registering for a tour, or ask your family or friend to accompany you during the tour.  As a cycling tour is a long-distance challenge with a high level of exercise intensity, participants are required to disclose their health conditions faithfully.  If a participant has any accident due to his or her health conditions in any activity during the tour, the participant is willing to be solely held liable and such accident shall be irrelevant to the company.
  1. 【Consent form of security assurance of physical condition】
I confirm that the health of the body is normal, and have no individual special physical, pregnancy, cardiovascular and other diseases, and through careful consideration, I voluntarily participate in the activity held byGiantTravel Agency (shares) Company, I know the content of the activity and the risk before the activity, and strictly comply with the notice of the activity and the reminder of the team leader. During the activity, if the risk occurs due to personal factors, I am willing to bear all the responsibility, and agree to the terms of the above refund; if there is an accident, I would like to follow the provisions of the insurance company, and handle the application procedures to accept insurance claims. And at any time pay attention to my own physical condition and the security to participate in the activity; in case of sudden and irresistible reasons, or continued medical problems caused by insanity, drug allergy, or other medical behavior, or autoimmune disease, any personal or financial loss arising from any condition or derivative of a travel liability insurance policy, I agree to be fully accountable, which has nothing to do with Giant Travel Agency, and the consent form is hereby made for verification.
  1. Reminder for Travel Insurance when Not Joining Group Tours for Overseas Travel
Please be fully aware: If you arrange your own flight tickets and will meet the group at the designated meeting point, you must ensure that you purchase the necessary personal travel insurance at your departure location.
 
  • ■Personal Data Collection Statement and Terms of Service


    1. Giant Adventure Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will collect your personal data for the purpose of providing this travel service, handling insurance, booking hotels or transportation tickets, and contacting you regarding related matters. The data collected includes your name, gender, nationality, ID number/passport number, date of birth, height, weight, mobile phone number, home phone number, email, address, emergency contact person, emergency contact relationship, emergency contact phone number, any special medical conditions, dietary habits, and credit card number. If you are a minor, the Company will additionally collect a parental consent form, which includes the parent's name, parent's ID number, parent-child relationship, parent's phone number, accompanying relative/friend's name, relationship with accompanying relative/friend, and accompanying relative/friend's phone number. If you are 70 years or older, the Company will additionally collect a consent form for elderly participation in cycling activities, which includes the family member's name, relationship with the family member, family member's phone number, accompanying relative/friend's name, relationship with accompanying relative/friend, and accompanying relative/friend's phone number.
     
    2. Usage Period and Area of Personal Data
       (1) If the travel area is limited to within the Republic of China, your personal data will be used within the Republic of China during the period of travel service.
       (2) If the travel area is not limited to within the Republic of China, your personal data may be provided to the Company's foreign partners (such as local travel agencies, hotels, etc.) for use during the period of travel service.
       (3) The personal data you provide will be completely destroyed five years after the end of the travel itinerary.
     
    3. Usage Objects and Methods of Personal Data
       (1) Your name, date of birth, and ID number will be used to handle insurance with the Company's partner insurance company.
       (2) Your name, date of birth, and ID number or passport number will be used to book hotels and transportation tickets.
       (3) If you request to leave the group due to personal reasons, to avoid disputes, the Company will ask you to sign a departure declaration form, which includes your name, itinerary name and date, departure date, ID number, and contact phone number. The Company will retain this information for five years after the end of the travel itinerary before destroying it.
       (4) In the event of an accident, the contact person and contact phone number may be used to notify relevant matters and handle subsequent procedures.
     
    4. You may, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, make the following requests regarding your personal data to the Company's contact window (Email: elvatsai@giant.com.tw, Phone: 04-23117979):
       (1) Inquiry or request for viewing.
       (2) Request for a copy.
       (3) Request for supplementation or correction.
       (4) Request to stop collection, processing, or use.
       (5) Request for deletion.
5.You are free to choose whether to provide your personal data. If you do not provide it, the Company may not be able to provide you with complete services.
6.According to the personal data protection law, for the use of the following personal information, please express your wishes:

I further permit the company to use such materials without compensation for purposes related to the promotion of cycling activities, including exhibition arrangements, media or public relations materials, social media marketing, presentations, sponsorship proposals, and newsletters. However, such usage must not harm my image, reputation, or privacy. The duration of usage shall be determined based on actual business requirements. I also acknowledge that should I wish to withdraw my authorization for the use of my likeness in the future, I may notify Giant Adventure Co., Ltd. in writing. In cases of group registration, as the designated contact person for this event, I confirm that authorization for the use of the aforementioned photos or videos has been obtained from all participants.

Party A and Party B agree to handle the matters related to this travel based on the following terms.


Article 1: Definition of Domestic Travel 
The domestic travel referred to in this contract means travel within the territorial boundaries of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu, and other free areas of the Republic of China.
Article 2: Applicable Scope 
The rights and obligations of Party A and Party B regarding this travel are determined by the terms stipulated in this contract. For matters not stipulated in this contract, the relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of China shall apply.
Article 3: Tour Group Name, Travel Itinerary, and Advertising Responsibility 
The name of this tour group is ____________________________.

Attachments, advertisements, promotional materials, itineraries, or explanations from briefing sessions related to this contract shall be deemed part of the contract. Party B shall ensure the authenticity of the advertisement content and must not provide obligations to Party A that are less favorable than those stated in the advertisement. 
The content recorded in the first paragraph may be replaced by advertisements, promotional materials, itineraries, or explanations provided during briefing sessions. 
If the content of the first paragraph is not recorded or is inconsistent with the advertisements, promotional materials, itineraries, or explanations, the most favorable content for the traveler shall prevail.
Article 4: Meeting and Departure Time and Location 
Party A shall meet promptly at _______ on _______ (Year/Month/Day) at _______ (Time) at _______ (Location). If Party A fails to arrive at the agreed location on time and is unable to depart or join the trip midway, it shall be deemed that Party A has voluntarily terminated the contract. Party B may exercise its right to claim damages as stipulated in Article 12.
Article 5: Travel Expenses and Payment Method 
Unless otherwise agreed by both parties, Party A shall pay according to the following provisions: 
1. At the time of signing this contract, Party A shall pay NT$ _______ via _______ (cash, credit card, transfer, check, etc.). 
2. The remaining balance shall be paid via _______ (cash, credit card, transfer, check, etc.) no later than three days prior to departure or during the briefing session. 
Special agreements under the preceding paragraph must be mutually agreed upon and recorded in Article 32 of this contract. Neither party may demand an increase or decrease in travel expenses under any other pretext.
Article 6: Effect of Traveler’s Delay in Payment 
If Party A fails to pay travel expenses due to reasons attributable to Party A, Party B may set a reasonable deadline and demand payment. If Party A fails to pay within the deadline, Party B may terminate the contract. Party A shall compensate for the costs as stipulated in Article 12. If Party B suffers additional damages, Party B may also claim compensation.
Article 7: Traveler’s Cooperation Obligation 
If the completion of the trip depends on certain actions by Party A, and Party A fails to perform such actions, Party B may set a reasonable deadline and demand Party A to act. If Party A fails to act within the deadline, Party B may terminate the contract and claim compensation for damages resulting from the termination. 
If Party B terminates the contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph after the trip has commenced, Party A may request Party B to advance the costs to transport them back to the original departure location. Upon arrival, Party A shall repay Party B with an annual interest rate of _______%.
Article 8: Items Covered by Travel Expenses 
The travel expenses paid by Party A as stipulated in Article 5 shall, unless otherwise agreed in Article 32, include the following items: 
1. Administrative Fees for Document Processing: Fees for documents processed by Party B on behalf of Party A. 
2. Transportation Fees: Costs for various transportation modes required during the trip. 
3. Meal Expenses: Costs for meals arranged by Party B as listed in the itinerary. 
4. Accommodation Fees: Costs for hotel accommodations required during the trip. If Party A requests a single room and Party B agrees to arrange it, Party A shall pay the required price difference. 
5. Sightseeing Costs: Costs for all sightseeing activities and entrance tickets listed in the itinerary. 
6. Transfer Fees: Costs for all transfers between airports, ports, stations, and hotels during the trip. 
7. Luggage Fees: Costs for group luggage transfers between airports, ports, stations, and hotels, as well as tips for luggage handlers. Luggage weight and quantity shall comply with airline regulations. 
8. Taxes: Airport service taxes and group meal/accommodation taxes, etc. 
9. Service Fees: Remuneration for accompanying staff and other service personnel arranged by Party B for Party A. 
10. Insurance Fees: Liability insurance and performance guarantee insurance. 
If transportation fees (Item 2) and sightseeing costs (Item 5) are adjusted upward or downward after the contract is signed due to announcements by government agencies or operators, Party A shall make up the difference, or Party B shall refund the excess. 
Discounts for senior citizens on entrance tickets, children’s accommodation without beds, and other benefits for Items 2 to 5 in the preceding paragraph are detailed in the attachment (quotation sheet). If such information is not recorded in the contract-related documents, Party A may request a refund for the actual difference.
 
Article 9: Items Not Covered by Travel Expenses 
Unless otherwise agreed by both parties in Article 32, the travel expenses stipulated in Article 5 do not include the following items: 
1. All expenses not listed in the itinerary of this travel contract. 
2. Personal Expenses of Party A: Such as expenses for optional tours, excess baggage fees, beverages and alcohol, laundry, phone calls, internet usage, private transportation, remuneration for accompanying shopping outside the itinerary, expenses for free activities, personal medical expenses for injuries or illnesses, tips for personal services (e.g., hotel room staff), and costs or rewards for recovering lost items. 
3. Airfare and other related expenses not included in the itinerary. 
4. Recommended tips for drivers or accompanying staff. 
5. Insurance Fees: Costs for travel insurance purchased by Party A. 
6. Other fees collected or processed by Party B on behalf of Party A. 
Party B shall explain the tipping practices and approximate amounts for various tourist destinations regarding the recommended tips mentioned in Items 2 and 4 before departure.
Article 10: Minimum Number of Participants for Group Tours 
This tour group requires at least ______ participants to form the group. If the required number is not met, Party B shall notify Party A of the contract termination at least ______ days before the scheduled departure date (minimum of seven days; if not specified, it is deemed as seven days). If Party B fails to notify Party A, resulting in damages to Party A, Party B shall compensate Party A for the damages. 
If the minimum number of participants is not specified, it is deemed that there is no minimum number for forming the group, and the same applies to guaranteed departures. 
After terminating the contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph, Party B may refund or transfer the travel expenses to a new travel contract established under Item 2 below: 
1. Refund all fees paid by Party A, except for administrative fees already paid by Party B. 
2. With Party A's consent, establish another travel contract and transfer all or part of the refunded fees from the terminated contract to the new contract. Any excess remaining shall be refunded to Party A.
Article 11: Failure to Proceed Due to Reasons Attributable to the Travel Agency 
If the travel activity cannot proceed due to reasons attributable to Party B, Party B shall notify Party A immediately upon becoming aware of the situation and explain the reasons. Party B shall refund the travel expenses paid by Party A. 
If Party B fails to notify Party A as required under the preceding paragraph, Party B shall compensate Party A with liquidated damages calculated based on the total travel expenses. 
If Party B has already provided notification, the liquidated damages payable to Party A shall be calculated based on the time between the notification and the scheduled departure date as follows: 
1. Notification received more than 41 days before departure: Compensation of 5% of travel expenses. 
2. Notification received between 31 and 40 days before departure: Compensation of 10% of travel expenses. 
3. Notification received between 21 and 30 days before departure: Compensation of 20% of travel expenses. 
4. Notification received between 2 and 20 days before departure: Compensation of 30% of travel expenses. 
5. Notification received 1 day before departure: Compensation of 50% of travel expenses. 
6. Notification received on or after the departure date: Compensation of 100% of travel expenses. 
If Party A can prove that the damages exceed the compensation standards listed above, Party A may claim compensation for the actual damages.
Article 12: Voluntary Contract Termination by Traveler Before Departure and Associated Responsibilities 
Party A may terminate the contract before the travel activity begins but must pay administrative fees upon receipt of the invoice from Party B and compensate according to the following standards: 
1. Termination more than 41 days before the start of the trip: Compensation of 5% of travel expenses. 
2. Termination between 31 and 40 days before the start of the trip: Compensation of 10% of travel expenses. 
3. Termination between 21 and 30 days before the start of the trip: Compensation of 20% of travel expenses. 
4. Termination between 2 and 20 days before the start of the trip: Compensation of 30% of travel expenses. 
5. Termination 1 day before the start of the trip: Compensation of 50% of travel expenses. 
6. Termination on or after the start date, or failure to notify non-participation: Compensation of 100% of travel expenses. 
The travel expenses used as the basis for damage compensation under the preceding paragraph shall first deduct administrative fees before calculation. 
If Party B can prove that the damages exceed the compensation standards listed above, Party B may claim compensation for the actual damages.
Article 13: Contract Termination Due to Legal Causes Before Departure 
If the contract cannot be fully or partially performed due to force majeure or reasons not attributable to either party, either party may terminate the contract without bearing responsibility for damages. 
In such cases, Party B shall provide receipts for all administrative fees already paid or necessary expenses incurred in fulfilling the contract, deduct these amounts after verification, and refund the remaining balance to Party A. 
If either party becomes aware that the travel activity cannot proceed, they shall notify the other party immediately and explain the reasons. Failure to notify resulting in damages to the other party shall incur liability for compensation. 
To safeguard the safety and interests of the travel group, Party B shall take necessary measures favorable to the travel group after terminating the contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph.
Article 14: Contract Termination Due to Objective Risks Before Departure 
Before departure, if there is factual evidence that one of the destinations in this tour poses a risk to the life, body, health, or property safety of the traveler, the provisions of the preceding article shall apply, and the contract may be terminated. However, the terminating party shall compensate the other party with ______% of the travel expenses (not exceeding 5%).
Article 15: Custody and Return of Documents 
If Party B handles the procedures required for the trip on behalf of Party A, Party B shall carefully safeguard all documents of Party A. In the event of loss or damage, Party B shall proactively reprocess the documents. If Party A suffers any damages as a result, Party B shall compensate for the damages. 
The documents mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be safeguarded by Party B and its employees with the care of a good administrator. Party A may retrieve the documents at any time, and neither Party B nor its employees may refuse.
Article 16: Traveler’s Right to Change Participants 
If Party A is unable to participate in the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, Party A may, no later than ______ days before the start of the trip, transfer their participation rights to a third party. Party B may not refuse without justifiable reasons. 
If the change results in additional costs, Party B may request payment from the third party who replaces Party A. If the change reduces costs, Party A may not request a refund. Party A and the third party shall visit Party B’s business premises within ______ days after receiving Party B’s notice to complete the contract transfer procedures. 
The third party who assumes this contract shall inherit all rights and obligations of Party A under this contract from the moment the transfer procedures are completed.
Article 17: Transfer of Travel Business 
If Party B transfers this contract to another travel agency before departure, Party B must obtain the written consent of Party A. If Party A does not consent, Party A may terminate the contract, and Party B shall immediately refund all travel expenses paid by Party A. If Party A suffers damages, Party A may also claim compensation. 
If Party A discovers or is informed after departure that the contract has been transferred to another travel agency, Party B shall compensate Party A with liquidated damages equal to 5% of the total travel expenses. If Party A suffers damages, Party A may also claim compensation. 
The travel agency that receives the transfer or its auxiliary personnel shall be liable for any intentional or negligent acts in performing the travel obligations. Party A may also hold the transferring travel agency responsible.
Article 18: Fulfillment of Travel Itinerary and Exceptions 
The food, accommodation, transportation, itinerary, sightseeing spots, and activities during the trip shall comply with the grade and content specified in this contract. Party A may not request changes unless Party B agrees to Party A’s request for changes, in which case Party A shall bear the additional costs incurred. Unless the circumstances in Articles 13 or 21 of this contract apply, Party B may not change the travel content under any pretext or reason. 
If Party B fails to fulfill the itinerary, transportation, food, accommodation, or sightseeing items specified in this contract due to reasons attributable to Party B, Party A may claim liquidated damages equal to twice the difference in value. 
Party B shall provide a detailed explanation of the calculation of the difference mentioned above. If no explanation is provided, the liquidated damages shall be calculated as at least 5% of the total travel expenses. 
Party A may also claim compensation for any damages suffered.
Article 19: Delayed Itinerary Due to Reasons Attributable to the Travel Agency 
If the itinerary is delayed due to reasons attributable to Party B, Party B shall obtain Party A’s written consent to continue arranging the unfinished travel activities or arrange for Party A’s return. 
If Party B fails to make arrangements, Party A may use equivalent-grade transportation to return to the departure location, and Party B shall bear the costs incurred. 
During the period of the delayed itinerary, Party B shall bear the costs of Party A’s food, accommodation, or other necessary expenses. Party A may also claim liquidated damages calculated as follows: the total travel expenses divided by the total number of travel days, multiplied by the number of days of delay. If the delay exceeds five hours but is less than one day, it shall be calculated as one day. 
When arranging Party A’s return under the first paragraph, Party B shall additionally compensate Party A for the unfinished portion of the trip and the transportation costs from the departure location to the first travel destination and back from the final travel destination. Party A may also claim compensation for any damages suffered.
Article 20: Abandonment or Retention of Traveler by Travel Agency 
If Party B intentionally abandons or retains Party A during the trip, Party B shall bear the costs incurred by Party A for food, accommodation, and other necessary expenses during the abandonment or retention period. Party B shall also refund Party A for the unfinished portion of the trip and the transportation costs from the departure location to the first travel destination and back from the final travel destination. Additionally, Party B shall compensate Party A with liquidated damages calculated as five times the amount obtained by dividing the total travel expenses by the total number of travel days and multiplying by the number of days of abandonment or retention. 
If Party B abandons or retains Party A due to gross negligence, Party B shall bear the related costs as stipulated in the preceding paragraph and shall compensate Party A with liquidated damages calculated as three times the amount mentioned above. 
If Party B abandons or retains Party A due to ordinary negligence, Party B shall bear the related costs as stipulated in the preceding paragraph and shall compensate Party A with liquidated damages calculated as one time the amount mentioned above. 
For the abandonment or retention period exceeding five hours but less than one day, it shall be calculated as one day. Party B shall promptly arrange the travel activities according to the scheduled itinerary or arrange Party A's return. 
Party A may also claim compensation for any damages suffered.
Article 21: Changes to Travel Content Due to Non-Attributable Reasons During the Trip 
If, during the trip, force majeure or reasons not attributable to Party B prevent the fulfillment of the scheduled itinerary, transportation, accommodation, or sightseeing activities, Party B may change the itinerary, sightseeing activities, or replace accommodations and transportation to safeguard the safety and interests of the travel group. Any additional costs incurred shall not be charged to Party A, and any reduced costs shall be refunded to Party A. 
If Party A does not agree to the changes mentioned above, Party A may terminate the contract and request Party B to advance the costs to return Party A to the original departure location. Upon arrival, Party A shall repay Party B with an annual interest rate of ____%.
Article 22: Liability Attribution and Assistance 
During the trip, if Party A suffers damages while using public transportation such as airplanes, ships, trains, metros, or cable cars due to reasons not attributable to Party B, the respective service providers shall be directly responsible to Party A. However, Party B shall exercise the care of a good administrator and assist Party A in handling the situation.
Article 23: Voluntary Termination of Contract by Traveler After Departure 
If Party A leaves the group and withdraws from the travel activities after the trip has started, Party A may not request a refund of travel expenses from Party B. However, Party B shall refund Party A for any expenses that Party B can save or does not need to pay due to Party A’s withdrawal. 
In such cases, Party B shall arrange accommodation and transportation for Party A to return to the departure location, and the costs shall be borne by Party A. 
If Party A fails to participate in the scheduled itinerary as stipulated in this contract after the trip has started, it shall be deemed a voluntary waiver of rights, and Party A may not request refunds or any compensation from Party B.
Article 24: Return Arrangements After Contract Termination by Traveler 
If Party A fails to cooperate with Party B in performing actions necessary for completing the trip, thereby affecting the subsequent itinerary and terminating the contract, Party A may request Party B to advance the costs to return Party A to the original departure location. Upon arrival, Party A shall repay Party B with interest, and Party B may not refuse. 
In such cases, Party B shall refund Party A for any expenses that Party B can save or does not need to pay due to Party A’s withdrawal. 
Party B may claim compensation from Party A for damages incurred due to the circumstances mentioned above.
Article 25: Travel Agency’s Obligation to Assist 
If Party A encounters physical or property-related accidents during the trip, Party B shall exercise the care of a good administrator to provide necessary assistance and handling. 
If the accident is caused by reasons not attributable to Party B, the costs incurred shall be borne by Party A.
Article 26: Liability Insurance and Performance Guarantee Insurance by the Travel Agency 
Party B shall purchase liability insurance and performance guarantee insurance as required by the competent authorities. The insured amounts for liability insurance are as follows: 
1. □ As stipulated by law.
2. □ Higher than the legal requirement, with the following amounts:
   (1) NT$5,000,000 for accidental death per traveler (NT$2,000,000 for travelers under 15 years old or over 70 years old). 
   (2) NT$200,000 for medical expenses due to accidental injury per traveler. 
   (3) NT$100,000 for post-incident handling costs for domestic travel. 
   (4) NT$2,000 for compensation for lost documents per traveler. 
If Party B fails to comply with the preceding insurance requirements, in the event of a travel accident or non-performance, Party B shall compensate Party A at three times the minimum insured amount prescribed by the competent authorities. 
Party B shall inform Party A of the name and contact details of the insurance company providing the travel agency liability insurance before the group departs, for Party A’s reference.
Article 27: Shopping and Handling of Defective Goods 
Party B may not arrange shopping itineraries for Party A during the trip unless requested or agreed upon by Party A. 
If Party B arranges shopping at specific locations, and the purchased goods are found to be of disproportionate value or defective, Party A may request Party B's assistance in handling the matter within one month after receiving the goods.
Article 28: Principle of Good Faith 
Both parties shall fulfill this contract based on the principle of good faith. When Party B entrusts another travel agency to solicit customers under the Travel Agency Management Regulations, Party B may not use the following defenses: 
That Party B did not directly receive payment from Party A. 
That Party B did not directly solicit Party A to participate in this tour. 
That this contract was not signed directly by Party B.
Article 29: Handling Consumer Disputes 
If disputes arise during the performance of this contract, Party B shall proactively negotiate with Party A to resolve them.

Party B shall assign personnel to respond to Party A's consumer dispute complaints within three business days and appropriately handle the matter within 15 days from the date of the complaint, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. 
If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, Party A may apply for mediation through the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, municipal or county (city) consumer protection officers, municipal or county (city) consumer dispute mediation committees, the Taiwan Travel Quality Assurance Association, or township (town, city, district) mediation committees. Party B shall attend the mediation meeting unless there are valid reasons for refusal.
Article 30: Protection of Personal Data 
For the purposes of fulfilling this contract, including processing documents, arranging transportation, accommodation, meals, sightseeing, and associated services, Party A agrees that Party B may collect, process, transmit, and use Party A's personal data in accordance with legal regulations.

Party B shall maintain the confidentiality of Party A's personal data and may not provide it to third parties without Party A's written consent or unless permitted by law. 
When the specific purpose of collecting Party A's personal data ceases or the trip concludes, Party B shall proactively delete, cease processing, or cease using Party A's personal data upon Party A’s request, except where necessary for business operations or with Party A's written consent. 
If Party B discovers that Party A's personal data has been stolen, tampered with, damaged, lost, or leaked, Party B shall immediately report to the competent authorities, investigate the cause and responsibility, and take necessary measures according to the actual situation. 
In such cases, Party B shall notify Party A in writing, via text message, or through other appropriate means, providing Party A with details of the incident, the measures taken by Party B, and the customer service contact information.
Article 31: Agreement on Jurisdiction of Court 
Both parties agree that the laws of the Republic of China shall govern disputes related to this contract. 
In the event of litigation arising from this contract, both parties agree that the _______ District Court shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance. However, this agreement does not exclude the application of the jurisdiction stipulated under Article 47 of the Consumer Protection Act or Article 436-9 of the Code of Civil Procedure regarding small claims courts.
Article 32: Other Agreement Matters 
Both parties agree to comply with the following provisions: 
1. Party A □ agrees □ disagrees to allow Party B to provide their name to other travelers in the same group. 
2. Explanation of Personal Data Collection and Service Terms:
    (1) Scope of Personal Data Collection:
     Giant Adventure Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will collect your personal data to process this travel service, insurance, hotel reservations, transportation tickets, and related communication matters. The collected data includes your name, gender, nationality, ID number/passport number, date of birth, height, weight, mobile phone number, home phone number, email, address, emergency contact, relationship with emergency contact, emergency contact phone number, any special medical conditions, dietary preferences, and credit card number. 
    (2) Duration and Region of Personal Data Use:
     (a)If the travel destination is limited to the Republic of China, your personal data will be used within the Republic of China during the travel service period. 
     (b) If the travel destination is outside the Republic of China, your personal data may be provided to foreign partners (e.g., local travel agencies, hotels, etc.) for use during the travel service period. 
     (c)All personal data you provide will be destroyed five years after the end of the travel itinerary. 
   (3) Objects and Methods of Personal Data Use:
     (a) Your name, date of birth, and ID/passport number will be used to process insurance with the Company's partner insurance company. 
     (b)Your name, date of birth, and ID/passport number will be used to book hotels and transportation tickets.
     (c) In case of an accident, the contact person and their phone number may be used to notify and handle related matters. 
   (4) Rights Under the Personal Data Protection Act:
     You may request the following regarding your personal data: 
     (a) Inquiry or access to your data. 
     (b) Request for a copy of your data. 
     (c) Supplement or correction of your data. 
     (d) Request to cease collection, processing, or use of your data. 
     (e) Request for deletion of your data. 
   (5) Freedom of Choice:
     You may choose whether to provide your personal data. However, if you choose not to provide it, the Company may be unable to offer complete services. 
   (6) Consent for Specific Use of Personal Data:
     In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, please indicate your consent regarding the following uses of personal data (if you disagree, please notify at the time of registration; if no notification is given, it will be deemed as consent):

     I hereby grant my consent and authorization to Giant Adventure Co., Ltd. to capture photographs and videos featuring my likeness during this event. I further permit the company to use such materials without compensation for purposes related to the promotion of cycling activities, including exhibition arrangements, media or public relations materials, social media marketing, presentations, sponsorship proposals, and newsletters. However, such usage must not harm my image, reputation, or privacy. The duration of usage shall be determined based on actual business requirements. I also acknowledge that should I wish to withdraw my authorization for the use of my likeness in the future, I may notify Giant Adventure Co., Ltd. in writing. In cases of group registration, as the designated contact person for this event, I confirm that authorization for the use of the aforementioned photos or videos has been obtained from all participants.
The agreements mentioned above, if they alter the provisions of other clauses in this contract, shall be invalid unless approved by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. However, agreements that are advantageous to Party A shall not be subject to this restriction.
